Big Time Productions International Pty Ltd is the publisher of Hot Rod Revival magazine, Tattoo Revival magazine and Tattoo Design magazine. The company was established in 2000 and is the brainchild of Peter Backman and Rodney Stewart. Peter, an award-winning tattooist of 30 years experience, and previously founder and publisher of Tattoos Downunder magazine, joined forces with Rod to create Tattoo Revival magazine. This publication has been hugely successful with a loyal fan base that is growing with each issue. Their vision was to introduce a larger format, high quality publication that would lead the way in setting new standards in this category of magazine.
Rod, who is one of Australia’s leading advertising and illustrative photographers, believed that the marketplace needed a bigger magazine with high quality images and an uncluttered layout that would show off the work to its best effect. Big Time Productions International Pty Ltd has now published 12 issues of Tattoo Revival and in 2006 introduced Hot Rod Revival magazine and Tattoo Design magazine, maintaining the same format and philosophy.
